man. This weeks Congregation Bible Study blew me away. I probably texted some of you already about this, but its the only thing i'm really inspired to post about...so deal with it.
here are my favorite quotes...
"But Jesus does not cower, does not flee, does not blurt out some lie. Instead he simply says: 'I am he.' His manner is so calm, so brave, that the men are astounded. They stagger backward and fall down!"
and
"One thing is certain: Anyone who expects Jesus to cower knows little of the man."
BOOM!
man. this got me so excited! lol.
And then I was thinking about the lions I saw on safari...and it's so true what paragraph 5 brings out that,
"As you look into the face of this huge and powerful creature and he gazes steadily back at you, you can hardly imagine the lion ever fleeing anything"
It's so true, their stare is so intense and unwavering. Their eyes pierce through yours and your very core is shaken.
